For nearly two decades, we’ve been side-by-side with them, from naming and branding the company’s launch in 2006, to navigating the ever-evolving landscape of new home construction. Recently, we embarked on a journey to expand their brand, ensuring their unique differentiator – personalization – shone brighter than ever.

True Homes has a clear mission: to be the most consumer-centric new home builder in the country. Their commitment to offering extensive personalization options, akin to a custom home builder but with the efficiency of a production builder and at a price that is right for every homeowner, sets them apart. True Homes felt that there is “much in your life you can personalize, so why not do it with your new home?” This philosophy is encapsulated in the builder’s long standing brand promise, “It’s All About U,” a promise we aimed to amplify.

Bringing Personalization to the Forefront

Our True Homes brand expansion centered on bringing the personalization message to life across all media. We started by creating a new print brochure, the “Book of True,” a tangible representation of the possibilities True Homes offers. This was complemented by a series of vibrant videos, including a broker-focused video and a new Design Studio video that showcases True Homes’ unique personalization experience that offers homeowners better choices.

These videos weren’t just about showcasing or selling homes; they were about telling the story of how True Homes empowers homeowners to create spaces that truly reflect their lives, allowing them to tap into their creativity. We also produced new broker, corporate and On Your Lot videos, each tailored to specific audiences, but all reinforcing the core message of personalization.

A Celebration of “U”

To visually represent this “It’s All About U” ethos, we introduced playful lifestyle photos, vibrant patterns and a splash of color. This elevated aesthetic, while maintaining True Homes’ recognizable orange and grey branding, including the iconic orange ‘U’ icon, added a touch of celebratory energy. The new visuals were reminiscent of party decorations, a nod to True Homes’ 18th anniversary in 2024, and a symbol of the joy and excitement of building a dream home.

This visual language extended to new graphics for corporate offices and sales centers, ensuring a consistent brand experience across all touchpoints. We also developed a series of ads focused on personalization, made website updates and developed new signage.
